About Me

I was drawn to UX Design by its principles: the focus on the process of iteration, the notion that everything must be done with intention, the embrace of failure as a vital step of the process and the consideration of ethics of design. As a designer, my goal is to develop a deep understanding of users so I can help design features and functionalities which are easy for them to use and help accomplish their goals. A part of this is planning and executing UX research to ensure that design decisions are based on what users actually need. It's fun to observe how users use tools and what their workflow is because users never cease to surprise. I'm campaigning for that to be the official motto of UX Research.
